Have you ever worried that future generations won't be able to understand who's who in your family archive?
If so, you're not alone! Preserving stories (with or without metadata) is one of the more difficult topics to tackle when working on your family history.
The two best methods (embedding metadata with a solid photo organizing program and creating a family history book) are time-consuming and technical, and though we recommend them at every chance, there is a third option:
The People Index
This is a low-budget, easy, and visual way to include pertinent information in your family archive, and it will take you much less time to finish than a book.
You can use a people index as a stand-alone document or as supplemental information, but either way, it's a non-technical solution that's quicker and easier than tackling everything up front!
By including a People Index™ in your family archive, the most important information will always be readily available!
